I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

{Stephanie} and for good measure {vw}

Dropped my mom off at the airport this morning. It was a lovely visit, but I am happy to be able to relax. An 80-year-old with balance problems and one blind eye who "doesn't need" any help requires a bit of alertness. She also likes to tell the same stories over and over, which used to drive me MAD, but when she had her last bout with cancer I vowed to cultivate a zenlike attitude about it. I usually succeed, but it is relaxing not to have to try.

I ate enldess amounts of crap food when she was here and am now Fatty McPlumperson. I have to lose some weight before my next trip to Minneapolis, because I can't afford to buy any new business clothes.

All is well that ends in pizza.

omnis_audis, try and watch/listen to the *musical* commentary after you watch.

It's a musical version of the commentary.

It's brilliant.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Many of the commentary songs are as good as the songs in the musical itself.

I am trying to type while holding cat Harvey across my chest in a sling Andi just sewed.

Harvey seems to enjoy it. He just put out his forepaw and touched my chin.

Gah, blood poisoning. It's what put me in the hospital. And I've always resented that I wasn't more with it so I could have done some writing while I was there. Apparently I slept a lot and stared at the television.

ION, I went to see Twilight with Hubby today. It didn't suck. Pun not intended. There were some intensely silly bits, but it was internally consistent, the peripheral characters and the back story show promise, and it was beautifully shot. I can definitely see how it's 14-year-old girl's ultimate fantasy, but since I have very unsophisticated tastes, I allowed myself to wallow in the Great Tragic Romance of it all.

Still, back off on Edward's lipstick and eye liner. He almost looks like Captain Jack Sparrow in a few scenes.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Can someone inform my upstairs neighbors that they do not live in this building alone? Because if I do it, I'm going to need a good alibi.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Goodness, Stephanie. Much health~ma to Ellie and coping~ma to you. I'm glad your mom will be able to come over and help.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Echoing all the health~ma for Ellie and coping~ma for the rest of you.

CJ and I had a nice lunch with a couple of other families from the dojo. He is now over at one of their houses, hanging out with 3 girls. Sounds rough for a 12 year old boy, eh?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

SJ, you were here in Dallas. Watching us s-l-o-w-l-y rehearse this new show about steroids in baseball. It's cold in the theater. Let me know if you need more details, k?

(um, what do you look like? In case the cops come asking with a picture, I don't want to go "who is that?")

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Lots of healing~ma to Ellie.

I've got a meeting with my advisor tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to it. In addition to much else that I know will be aggravating, he's going to look at the brace on my wrist or the ice pack on my shoulder and ask something like, "When is all that going to be over with so that you can concentrate on your work?" Um, never. Permanent condition here.
