You always think harder is better. Maybe next time I patrol, I should carry bricks and use a stake made out of butter.

Buffy ,'The Killer In Me'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I'm not a Farscape fan, otherwise Pilot or Moya would be cool! No, she's not a Ripley, and Willow's too central a character (I like to have to explain names to non-fandom people).

Susan and Random are neck-and-neck...

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I vote for Fred, but that could be related to crushness for AA.

Yay for interview!

Wow! Tons accomplished for wedding, all while grading too!? Rock on Pix!

I used to wake up at the crack of dawn. I would "quietly" get down a bowl and box of cereal, thus waking mom up. I recall some curse being uttered a few times about may my future kids vex me like that or some such. No clue when that ended. But now, I takes forever to fall asleep, and almost as much to wake. Once asleep I'm great. Once out of the shower, I'm good. But getting to those points is difficult.

ION- it's supposed to be weekend off, First in a long time. but the ducks are mobilizing, and have sent about 5 waves of nibble attacks on me. Can't I just get some down time?!? t /whine

Is no one going to vote for Susan or Random? Poor underdogs of the universe that they are.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I do like Susan. Easily confused with other Susans, but if you like explaining that may not be a drawback.

“Not dead yet!”

I'm with meara on the Velma love.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I do like Susan. Easily confused with other Susans, but if you like explaining that may not be a drawback.

I keep going to a Narnia kind of place with Susan, so I'll vote for Random.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Random makes me think about Zelazny's Amber series. Which isn't a bad thing, but probably not the fannish Random intended.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My latest attempt at vegan pumpkin pie is in the oven now. It smells really good. If it sets, then I think this version is it. (The easy way to get vegan pumpkin pie to set is to put the pumpkin in a blender with some silken tofu. I'm trying the trickier but tastier method of agar and arrowroot.)

It seems one of the ducks have temporarily been pacified. Now for the others. I swear, all my politcal moxy/energy is being eaten up dealing with the new building.

Maybe an hour at the gym will help. Haven't gone in a few weeks with crazy work schedule.
