Reynolds, I'm a dangerous-minded man on a ship loaded with hurt. Now, why you got me chatting with your peons?

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

DH's Phone went off from 5 to 7 . every time it rang it woke me up. Cat woke up and wanted food. DH came back to bed at 7 -- I made the cat wait until 8.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

The Girl and I are texting (across continents) ideas for names for my new walker. My other mobility aids have been called Marvin (after the Paranoid Android) and Luna (after Harry Potter's friend), so we have a sci-fi/fantasy theme to follow. We know that the walker is a girl and that she's a bit geeky and an individual.*

Suggestions so far include Susan (after the Gothic Governess), Random (after Arthur Dent's daughter) and Fred (from Angel). We have ruled out Hermione (which doesn't fit) and Kaylee (The Girl has name issues there).

*You can just tell these things after two days of using a mobility aid.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

So I guess "Willow" is out? Or even the full name "Willow Rosenberg" which always cracked me up? Also "Velma"?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Maybe Aeryn or Moya? (assuming you've seen Farscape)

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I was going to suggest Pilot. (Not a girl, but - Pilot --> mobility. So it fits!)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

How about Ripley? Not sure that geeky fits, but I'll throw it out there.

I'm not a Farscape fan, otherwise Pilot or Moya would be cool! No, she's not a Ripley, and Willow's too central a character (I like to have to explain names to non-fandom people).

Susan and Random are neck-and-neck...

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I vote for Fred, but that could be related to crushness for AA.

Yay for interview!

Wow! Tons accomplished for wedding, all while grading too!? Rock on Pix!

I used to wake up at the crack of dawn. I would "quietly" get down a bowl and box of cereal, thus waking mom up. I recall some curse being uttered a few times about may my future kids vex me like that or some such. No clue when that ended. But now, I takes forever to fall asleep, and almost as much to wake. Once asleep I'm great. Once out of the shower, I'm good. But getting to those points is difficult.

ION- it's supposed to be weekend off, First in a long time. but the ducks are mobilizing, and have sent about 5 waves of nibble attacks on me. Can't I just get some down time?!? t /whine

Is no one going to vote for Susan or Random? Poor underdogs of the universe that they are.
