May Connie's DH valiantly defeat the Lutherans today!
Also, I wish migraine banishment to all.
Today is a beautiful day and I wish I wasn't at work.

Maybe talk to Emmett about temporarily ceding his room to her and making the nook his space until she's able to sleep?
He wouldn't fit into the nook even a little bit. He's a big old dude now, whereas she is a wee boffin.
That may not be true. It may be harder for her to sleep with you there than with you at the other end, because she can hear you where you're at.
I was going to say this too. If you're in a different room, the temptation to climb in with you may diminish somewhat.
~ma for Glam's friend.
Surgery~ma to your DH,Connie.
And if I could have some no-flu-yet~ma, please, I'd appreciate it. I'm starting to feel a bit feverish and wheezy, with intermittent coughing and headaches. I just don't have time for this until December. Let me get the flu around Christmas, that's fine. I have a massive project at work that I have to get done in November.
thanks for the mammoriesWow! That is a great attitude for such a hard time in life. Tons of ~ma for your friend, Glam (kind of fitting I used my new pink ribbon bag this morning).
, took her first shower since the surgery this morning!))
there is no better feeling than that first shower after surgery. Not only are you dealing with the aftermath of surgery, you feel all gross.
I have no advice for Hec and JZ. We totally caved on the sleeping-with-the-'rents front. While Frances usually sleeps by herself all night, Isaac crawls into our bed roughly 4 nights out of 5. And he's a lot of kid to have in bed.
When we were still in our 1 bedroom in LA we eventually put our bedroom in the living room because it was the only way any of us were going to get any decent type of sleep.
JZ - can you and Hec take the smaller room E is in and he and Matilda can share the other?

We're considering it as they get older, but we can't really subject Emmett to four hours of crying a night. It's not his job to put her back to sleep.
