Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Is this guy related to Adam or Jamie?

Or Jilli or Cass? Or me?

All comfort and peace to you and the school, Kristin, to the girl's family and loved ones.

Dental ease to Liv and Mama, and healing-ma to Ellie.

That is an awesomely good day indeed, BT. I'd like one just like that. Well, just that awesome, suited to elements of my life, that is.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

The sundried tomato and spinach penne that looked so good was made exceedingly disappointing by the utter lack of parmesan cheese. I think that they just forgot to add it to this batch.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Stephanie, I hope Ellie's lip heals quickly!

OMG, I haven't had a roast beef sandwich in so long. It's so good. Thank you horseradish.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

((((Pix & community)))).

Apparently Tuesday is election day here in Dallas. Apparently with ELEVEN TX constiutional amendments. I have heard ZERO information on any of them. No sample ballot with pro/con arguements/websites.

Ha! Yes, everything has to have an amendment. Take a look at the state constitution sometime. It's a jumbled mess. Every so often they try to clean it up.

MRA can bite me. You think men have the disadvantage when it comes to child custody? Fight for Paternity leave, have a larger role in raising your kids, then we'll talk court bias.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Argh. Since we are legally married in CA, we thought we could just put DW's name on the birth certificate and that would be that. Today I spoke with our lawyer and found out we have to do a 2nd parent adoption, which will be lengthy and pricey. Shitty federal bullshit.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ugh, GC, what a PITA.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sorry to hear that, Glamcookie. What a stupid system we have.

Trust my rage

Stephanie, I hope Ellie's lip heals quickly!

Thanks - it's mostly better. I don't know that it bothered her that much. It just looked really gross and I felt bad that I let her eat the gummi-type candy. How's Liv doing?

Since we are legally married in CA, we thought we could just put DW's name on the birth certificate and that would be that

That seems so wrong. This is the sort of BS that gets me all angry. If DW was male, she would be assumed to be the father, unless you made it a point to clarify that she wasn't. I know there's a biological difference here, but it just seems legally wrong to me that she's not automatically the child's other parent.

Between GC and Jess, our legal system is pissing me off today.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Since we are legally married in CA, we thought we could just put DW's name on the birth certificate and that would be that

This is so annoying. One of the reasons that I think making same sex marriage legal is to protect these types of parental rights, and it is so sad to me that being married is still not solving the inequality of it. I have a friend in a same sex marriage who is going through a horrible divorce right now. She has been a stay at home mom for all of her boys life, but she is losing parental rights because she is not biomom.
