Cool. Leif came in second in a costume contest at our Methodist Church when last he entered. He was dressed as a penguin (a wonderful home-made costume). First place when to someone in a store bought costume like you'd see on a rack in Wal-Mart, Leif was robbed.

Moment of ewwww....class finished up, I dismissed the kids, then looked down and saw a worm coming out of the wall and slithering across the floor. This wall is an inside wall mind you, not a wall to the outside. Ewww.... I made the teacher next door dispose of it for me.

It's purely circumstantial that she does the DIY (would make me fall over, a lot), but it makes me laugh. (I've banned her from wearing trousers at the Big Gay Wedding 'cos then people will think it's a metaphor for our relationship, which has inspired all our friends to go "But she does wear the trousers..." Funny.)

Franny's school is having a Halloween parade today. She's Wonder Woman. OMG the kids costumes are so cute. Store bought or homemade, kids in costumes are just cute. But the thing that makes me want to ditch work and go see the parade is the teachers. Franny's teacher is Mary Ann, and there's Ginger, the Skipper, and Gilligan too.
