In vaccine news - my university has the H1N1 vaccine now. For the students. I'm hoping that this means that the public school system has it too. (I guess Chicago just got the vaccine at the beginning of the week - so we're not lagging too far behind.)

erika, that is a pain. It's really tough to be conciliatory and calm and have that rejected. I recently tried to have a srs discussion online with a homophobic douchebag whose only supporter in thread was a self-avowed KKK person. It was like arguing with a House Elf - always dropping one challenged argument to pop up with another.

That was my reaction, too. Furthermore, sex workers don't make that kind of money, sure as hell don't get red carpet treatment, and generally don't have much of a choice regarding their careers.
