We got a lecture in my lit crit class tonight about the evils of abusing the semi-colon and why it is not nice to use it improperly!! My prof's words were, "You are all making the semi-colon cry."
I *wondered* what was the cause of my sudden glee this evening!
ION, Becoming Pt. 2? Still allergies-inducing.
Oof. My heart.
[I think I was lost forever when she did the slo-mo run down the hall in the odd blue trench (that might have been in Pt 1).]
Hubby wants to carve into the moon "If you can read this you're too close."
My office is having a flu vaccination clinic in a couple of weeks but they aren't expecting the H1N1 vaccine until Dec/Jan.
I have never gotten a flu shot before but this year I have signed up.
I have never gotten a flu shot before but this year I have signed up.
Isn't it a waste of time to get the vaccine that isn't for H1N1? The anticipated flu strain is not the one that's moving through the populace.
Well, not the one in the NEWS.
(What's wrong with you, man? Can't you hear the cries of
HERD IMMUNITY!!!!!!
ringing through the air as soon as that post gets read?)
Well, I'm for immunization but it seems more of a gesture than necessary to get the non-H1N1 vaccine.
Cindy! Great news! I'm so happy for you.
And. ION.
Who, exactly, thought it was a good idea to invent mornings? I wanna sleep!
The h1N1 flu is early . In CA the flu season usually hits in Jan. It is possible that H1N1 will be followed by the other strain.
I've never had the flu. I never worried about getting sick with diabetes -- that is a disease that made me behave in healthier ways. But now that I have added asthma to the mix, I get it. Even when there is a chance that they don't have it right.
That was my long winded way of saying, get the sesonal flu shot if you are going to be around lots of people , or might bring it to someone that might be more than just sick
But as long as you are willing to stay home if you are ill ( 2 to 10 days , it just depends ) the risk is minimal.
