I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

kicks interwebs

Woe! Woe is the Cupcake of Gothness! I learn of the existence of black and pink skeleton tights, only to discover that the entire interwebs is sold out of them. Probably to people who will only wear them once, for a costume. Don't these people understand that I NEED black and pink skeleton tights in my everyday wardrobe?

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I had bread and cheese for dinner. My boring pseudo-european meal hangs its head in shame.

The sellers have 4 kids. In a 2 bed/1 bath hs. So the younger ones sleep in the "finished" basement (quotes because the ceiling is hobbit-height.) Apparently they are moving back to the family homestead in Guadalajara. Leetle more space.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

ok -- so I wasn't going crazy thinking there were a billion beds.

I think the house has great potential. It has a lot of charm now, it just needs to lighten up .

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Glad you are ok, Toddson.

Good luck with that bathroom, erin_o.

Toddson! No more hospitals for you.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I'm head over heels to find something in such good shape (structurally speaking) in such a nice neighborhood in my price range. Still a little stunned. All my coworkers are jealous of how nice the area is *chuckle* They do not envy me the work i'll be doing for the next umpteen years reversing some of the more egregious decorating choices...but it's still a pretty amazing find for me. *swoon*

Wow, the evening news just referred to someone being diagnosed with "The H1N1". Not "the H1N1 virus" or "H1N1" but "THE H1N1" (accent sic). i am inordinately amused by the article use. Maybe i should not have had that glass of wine? I should not laugh at the suffering of other. And really, i'm not. It's the article usage!!

“Not dead yet!”

erin! Your new house is so charming! I love the raised beds outside. And while yeah, I can definitely understand that desire for more room in the bathroom, I think the whole place has a ton of potential. I can't wait to see more pics as you renovate.

IOme(sort of)N: My little Diva is now officially a not-so-little Diva.

She's TWELVE!

How did that happen? She's not a baby anymore? She's a beautiful, lovely girl who's poised on the brink of giving her father constant heart attacks. She's already got a couple of boys crushing on her-- one asked her over last Friday when they didn't have school to have popcorn and play DS games.

She's really going to be like the perfect girl-- she's girly, loves to draw, loves clothes, but also loves to game and geek out monumentally. I can't wait until we get to Seattle and she can really let her little creative feathers fly.

Our wings are not tired.

Aww, happy birthday to the Diva. I don't think DH could have survived having a daughter.

I was reading some more stuff on his website but I couldn't bring myself to read the testimonials.

My right hand person never met a conspiracy theory she didn't love, and believe. It takes a huge amount of effort to not smack her on a regular basis. But she is otherwise brilliant and a wonderful employee. Sigh. We just can't talk about anything but work.

Yay Erin with the new house! House projects are never ending, but also very rewarding. I'm looking forward to watching the transformation.
