[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Sweet! They've pulled the Amp app.

Thank you for contacting us with your thoughts about our recent AMP iPhone application.

I can share with you that we have discontinued the app. After listening to a variety of audiences, including our consumers, we decided that this was the most appropriate thing to do.

Thanks again for writing. Please know that we appreciate hearing your opinion.

Sincerely,

Consumer Relations

Oi, Todd! Glad you caught it in time.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Seriously, Toddson, congrat on getting rid of that pesky appendix just in time!

Seska - sounds like you had an encounter of the 1234 (craxy) kind. Glad that police were helpful....i would totally perceive that as threts and harassment which totally warrant police involvement.

DC- i tried opening up the lappy last night but was unsucessful....it was holding on and i couldn't figure out how to get it open without causing more damage. *sigh* Will do some how to searches online today and give it another try tonight. Plus, i realized that maybe i can boot via the external hard drive....worth a try!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

A handbag shopping question for the hivemind, please. My current handbag is falling apart, and I'm looking for a new one, ideally in the $40-$60 range. I like largish black bags with long straps so I can wear it cross body. The fewer decorations, the better.

Does anyone have a favorite handbag website?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Things that are annoying - when you give me a document that is dated the 8th, I assume that you have submitted it on the 8th. Particularly when I gave it to you on the 7th. I do not like calling to find out where my reimbursement check is, only to find that you didn't submit it until the FOURTEENTH. Luckily, I wasn't shirty when I called, since I was thinking that it was late, but I was actually calling too soon!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

We were able to get the H1N1 at the pediatrician's office. We liked him a lot, but that really sealed the deal when he offered it to both of us. So glad to not have to think about it anymore.

All is well that ends in pizza.

So it looks like Andi and I are buying a new furnace on Monday. They will be here 7 am to install.

The one we have was built in the 80's and apparently is less efficient and $$$ to repair.

$2100 expense in a year that has seen two new cars and work reductions resulting in essentially a several thousand dollar pay cut for me.

Blergh.

I blame the idiot electrician who installed the 'new' wiring in this house. Something had to kill it. We just spent $300 on a new control module last year.
