I just did my presentation the real way, with only the slides to guide me and not reading from my transcript. That sure as hell slowed me down since I had to think about what I was supposed to be saying. And I felt more comfortable since I could just say random things when they occurred to me instead of trying to stick to my script.

One hour, fifty minutes. It's getting there.

My hair is also curlier longer. Wavier, really. I'm curious to see how it behaves this time 'round going long. Last time, it tended to have that growing-out-a-perm look, but a: I no longer color with anything but henna; and b: my hair's getting curlier with age.

My hair three on the curlier longer trip. That's why I currently have a long piece in front, so it will curl and look pretty. The short sides don't. And the back is way too short.

Have never, ever had short hair - a buzz cut is beyond what I can imagine. I had a bob once. It was too short for me and I grew it out. My happy length is just past my shoulders. (Need a haircut. And a colour. How is it possible for a 31-year-old to have this much grey? Gah.)

I'm thinking of extending my new PCA's probation time. She's driving me crazy, but not in such a way that she can be trained out of. Just general crazy-driving-ness. Doesn't help that I know my old PCA - who is an absolute star - may be regularly available in about a month. And that she did a shift for me yesterday. Gah.

I hope whatever you'll choose to do to your hair, it'll work great. Me, like Seska, can't have short hair (and I hate it. I'd like something more manageable!)

The bad news is, I'm awake. The good news is, I was able to get to the living room without waking TCG to help me, so the muscle pull is a little better this morning.

2,200 words into my literature review! Woot. I'm hoping I'll hit 3000 or so by tomorrow and be done. And then bring on the policy research and qualitative interviewing, baby.

I'm doing some last-minute studying for my Poli Sci mid-term. (Yes, I studied before, this is just to make sure.) Da Punk has to stay home one more day, poor thing. Well, poor Aims...she's staying home with Da Punk whilst I go matriculate and shit.

I love saying that: Matriculate and shit. It's like saying something fantastical and throwing "and junk" on the end.

I digress. And should study some more.
