Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Ok, what's the first thing that comes to people's minds for a knife thrower's assistant's costume?

That one episode of Bones.

Now tagless for your comfort.

“Not dead yet!”

Modified saloon girl look works well in this context, Aims.

Don't forget the eyepatch! All sorts of...implications.

I think the eye patch is a nice touch.

Damn, I totally effed up my birthday manicure. I went to try on some Chuck Taylors and my thumbnails are now completely buggered. *sigh* And I can't remember the name of the varnish to get it fixed.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

That said, I, like MM, hate bringing in a sick kid to the doctor only to find there's nothing they can do for her that I couldn't have done at home. It's a PITA.

Yeah, that's mainly what I was doing: grousing.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Resting all day hasn't helped the pain. If it's not better tomorrow, I should probably go to the doctors.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

The bed is cleared, and I'll change the sheets in a few minutes, get a cup of tea, and then will take a shower. In the meantime of getting my bed clear and get some floor surface to step on, I even packed another box.

About an hour ago a friend sent me the site in memoriam of the friend I lost a year ago to cancer [link] [Hebrew, but there's a nice pic of her. For me, btw, that's her: [link] ] I spent there about 30 minutes, reading about her and of her, looking at her photographs. The last 10 minutes I spent smiling, and with "Cracker" on as a soundtrack (she loved them.) And I was reminded of something I wanted to share with you a while ago, and I can't remember if I linked to it before; if not, it's probably because until now it felt like it's hers to own, not mine to share. It's a series about her disease, and I think it was done wonderfully. [link]

I'm so glad I've had her in my life. I can't believe that now I'm older than her: that just doesn't seem right.
