Shir, my copy was a gift from a friend of mine who travelled there. She very much enjoyed her visit and wanted me to read it. My old neighbor still has family in Israel and travels there at least twice a year. I want to go someday.
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
What was that productivity site people were talking about a week or two ago? Where you entered the tasks you had to do, and then you finished them, and it made you feel better?
You're not talking about the Ultimate Productivity Blog, are you?
Dana, it's NowDoThis dot com.
Happy Birthday, Sail!

Shir, echoing what's already been said, I find your posts very interesting. Please don't hold back on what you want to say!
Heh, Tom. Not it, but thanks.
And thanks, Zenkitty!
Happy birthday, Sail!

Proof that the StuntHusband is EVIL INCARNATE: he just sent me the link about the L.A. Opera costume sale. That is happening on Saturday.
stamps feet in vexation
I'm having a great deal of fun with Facebook. I love opera, and I had a thought just now about how the children who sing in operas arrange things with school and such, so some quick Googling led me to a couple of Facebook pages for alumni of the children's chorus at the Met. They're telling tales of their legendary director and generally reminiscing. I wouldn't pull out anything specific for writing, but for getting a feel for that kind of atmospher it's terrific.
Happy Birthday Sail!
