Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Pretty sure I was never, *ever* that happy on a Monday morning, but I'm glad someone is! Cutiehead.

I was marginally more happy than usual for a Monday morning, because it's a day off. A chore-laden day off, but a day off nonetheless. So, marginally.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I am COLD.

It is COLD.

We cannot turn the heating on in October. It would be WRONG.

But I am COLD.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We cannot turn the heating on in October. It would be WRONG.

I challenge this statement. Seska is not an eskimo. Seska needs the heat, the glorious, delicious life affirming heat.

Warm yourself!

“Not dead yet!”

How can anyone be this happy on a Monday morning? [link]

IOMondayN, I've taken Mooshu to the vet for another glucose curve test and Lewis and I have begun the Great Purge in preparation for moving. Without my nagging, he's actually gone through his closet (never mind that I've nagged him to do this every time we've moved) and gotten rid of three large bags of clothes and shoes that are now going to Goodwill. For my part, I went through my bookshelves and sorted out four large shopping bags full of books that are going to my library. This is only the first pass, I'm sure.

And how sad is it that after removing four large shopping bags full of books, I look at my shelves and can't tell?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I want to be back at Mom's beach house. There is too much cleaning and laundry to be done here.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

Connie, do you want any sushi tips, or are you enjoying figuring it out yourself?

I've been making vegetarian sushi for around five years, so I can help with suggestions for preparing the rice and making rolls, but not for anything to do with the fish.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

In NYC, October 1st is the mandatory beginning of heating season! Turn the heat on!
