And how sad is it that after removing four large shopping bags full of books, I look at my shelves and can't tell?
Hah! That just means your a buffista.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I exhibit no surprise.
Connie, do you want any sushi tips, or are you enjoying figuring it out yourself?
I've been making vegetarian sushi for around five years, so I can help with suggestions for preparing the rice and making rolls, but not for anything to do with the fish.
We cannot turn the heating on in October. It would be WRONG
In NYC, October 1st is the mandatory beginning of heating season! Turn the heat on!

Sure! Primarily the rice. What is your preferred recipe for the mixture you add to the rice, and do you do anything to your noni? Mine seems a little tough.
How can anyone be this happy on a Monday morning? [link]Clearly she hasn't learned the days of the week yet. But has excelled at the lessons of being cute!
And how sad is it that after removing four large shopping bags full of books, I look at my shelves and can't tell? That means you are well read, literate, smart, educated, and other words of high importance. I can not find fault with that at all. Be proud! (and hire someone to move the boxes of books!).
I bought 2 pairs of pants at Target over the weekend. One is not the size marked on the outside label (it's 2 sizes smaller) and the other has a broken zipper. Target FAIL.
What to do!? My crew has thus been nicknamed "Justice League" due to the super hero influence on us. One is Superman, the other is Batman, and I am Green Lantern. They have started calling the workshop "Hall of Justice"! It is awesome. Apprentice starts today. She is awesome (did some work for us last year). I asked which super hero she is, and without hesitation she replied "Wolverine" due to the amount of metal holding her body together (a rather nasty car accident some years ago). But... but.. Wolverine is Marvel. Not DC.
(yes, not a real problem, but maybe one to start a spirited conversation and distract us all from the Monday work blues)
She can be Cyborg! He was in the Smallville version of the JLA.
Oh, and apparently he will be joining the actual JLA now.
Spent my weekend taking care of KBD, who stubbornly (and jokingly) insists that he just has "allergies." Values of "taking care" included petting his head (only part I felt safe touching), making him watch 22/29 episodes s2 Twin Peaks, and bickering while fixing food (Control. Freak). Also temporarily ditching him for the aforementioned Corb show.
Show was good, got to talk to Brady and listen to Corb expound about healthcare. I had to try and explain copays to Brady. "So you're not insured?" "No, I am, but you have to pay a copay." "Is that like a deductible for your car?" "No, that's different..."
Ah, Canadians.
