[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Why does chopping cauliflower make my hands itchy?

Because cauliflower is evil. Duh.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Bit of a blood sugar low, so I'm having wine. I'm sure that's not recommended, but mmmmm - wine.

PCA and I ransacked the flat. There is no suitcase here. I shall ring cleaning agency tomorrow.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Because cauliflower is evil. Duh.

Yeah, because cauliflower needs cheese or butter on it to become not-evil.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

This cauliflower is going to get mixed with lentils, onions, carrots, peppers, spinach, curry powder, and a few other spices. And then put on top of rice.

OK, all that stuff should make cauliflower not-evil. And nummy.

I have had a proper dinner, too. So the wine is really just nice.

Cauliflower is icky. Broccoli is the king of the vegetables. Cauliflower is nothing but a courtier with an overinflated ego.

In other vegetable news, I like frozen peas. And brussels sprouts. Mind you, I am British.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm going to be singing this song all day.

Feminists don't have a sense of humor...

Oh, I'm gonna be playing that on a loop all day. Thanks for the link.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Aw. A woman I met at the AMWA regional conference called to congratulate me on my promotion since she saw it on LinkedIn. Oh, brave new world that has such people in it.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Skippy skippy. ~ma to all who are in need and hugs to the rest.

My mom was in town to check out my belly. We had a great time and I totally bawled when I dropped her at the airport on Monday. Damned PG hormones (though I do miss my mom and wish we lived closer).

We put the crib together and it is friggin' adorable! Don't believe me? Check it out! Front: [link] Inside: [link]

Also, me at almost 27 weeks: [link] YIKES!
