Xander: Just once I'd like to run into a cult of bunny worshippers. Anya: Great. Thank you very much for those nightmares.

'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Here is a checklist that might help you know if it is worth getting evaluated: [link]

Thank you for the link, WindSparrow, and for the education as well. I got 4 yes (including the "Are you spending a majority of your time coping, looking for things, catching up or covering up?" statement, which, as an information manager, is just the description of a stage at work for me).

I hope it's in a non-dispute area.

Since it'll be in Jerusalem, it'll be in dispute. But it's a dispute I can live with. Even pre-1967 Jerusalem is in dispute, and we're gonna live in a post-1967 borders. Mostly because it's 2009 and the city grows at 12,000 people per year rate.

And now, for more important things.

{{Seska, Girl, Girl's Family}} and {{omnis and family}} You guys, I'm so, so sorry. I can't even begin to imagine. strength~ma to you through all of this, come and vent here as much as you'll like, and we're here for you. Much love in both of your directions.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

You're all brilliant (to use a British term). Thanks so much for your support. I'll try and get The Girl to lurk and read your good wishes - I think it would help.

omnis, ~ma for you and for your father. Thank you so much, too, for the offer of your contact details. The Girl's a shy 'un, so I don't think she'd be up for it - but I'll mention the offer to her. It's very sweet of you.

Shir, I hope you have a safe and comfortable move. When are you actually moving? Jerusalem sounds interesting. I need to visit Israel soon, so as to learn more about The Girl's background. And I hear it's a beautiful place to visit anyway.

I think grocery shopping today was too much for my ankle.

Ugh. Hope it feels better soon. I never shop without my wheelchair anymore. I think supermarkets are designed to make your joints crazy.

It's my biggest joy about working from home, honestly.

I fully expect to stay in my PJs for most of today. Sometimes it's great not to have an office to have to go to.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ergh, Insomnia Fairies brought headache and I cannot remember if I was just thinking about taking Advil or actually did.

I am erring on the side of caution and Teppy by waiting it out instead of taking more. Caution because I like my liver. Teppy because I would have taken more than the OTC dose if I did take some and La Tep is a pharm god.

Now to try and sleep because I am wrangling cats and catching planes in the morning.

Our wings are not tired.

{{omnis and family}} Stength and coping to all of you. It's very tough, but if the hospital can get him past the physical withdrawal he will have a much better time with recovery.

Though if you could wear pajamas to work I suspect you would.

I've worn whatever I pleased to work for years because no one ever comes to the office. Tank tops, shorts, inside pants. My assistant rides her bike to work and often doesn't wear or bring shoes.

This relaxed situation is about to change. We are moving our office to Miami and the office will be where we see outside people. I can deal with having to wear real clothes, but I've always brought Brandy to work and now I have to find her a sitter. Still trying to figure out what to do there.

I hope you are in happy dream land, Cass.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, omnis. What a trying time. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that things get better soon.

~ma to Seska's Girl and fam.

One of my friends on facebook linked to this photo, and I thought y'all would appreciate it.

Woo hoo, Friday!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, damn. So much ~ma to omnis's dad and The Girl's dad, and to all the people who love them.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Continuing thanks for the ~ma. I told The Girl to stop by and lurk to see how much goodwill there is here. She said "I don't understand messageboards." I said I'd send her a link to the Bitches thread. Honestly. Non-geeks.

I feel really useless, being several thousand miles away. She needs support for herself - she's running between countries to collect grandparents and all sorts - but we can only talk about once a day. Gah. Oh well. We're going to make decisions about me joining her out there, based on how long it starts to look like she'll be there. It's complicated because her family has only just start to tolerate me, and I obviously don't want to upset them at the moment.

ION, I found a great little cafe not far from me, next door to a Starbucks, so that I can use their wifi while patronising local cafes instead. Genius. I am having a cream tea. Not diet friendly. Delicious, though.

So pissed. After providing a kickass design concept, my website designer completely dropped the ball, even though I've been telling her for two weeks that I would need something for today for the Board. I have been asking her what text/data she needs for a while now. I finally just sent her some stuff yesterday saying "based on the draft design, I think you need this text" She said she'd have something by 12 or 1AM last night. At 4:30, she sent me the link. she just threw some shit up on the internet. Broken links, draft text still there (even lorem ipsum in some places), links back to the old pages, placeholder pics. Ridiculous and unusable.
