Seska, I am so sorry for your family. Much strength and coping to the Girl and her father.
'The Girl in Question'
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Am I being too sensitive if I'm getting annoyed that my officemates keep commenting on my food? I just want to eat my lunch, not explain it! Today, one of them asked me what my lunch was today before I even had any food in front of me. And when I answer their questions, it's not like they do anything with the information -- like, if they asked for recipes or something, that would be an actual conversation. But it's just, "What do you have for lunch?" "Salad, cherries, and an apple." "OK." Every single day.
My cat sometimes smells my breath to see what I had for lunch, but that's not every day.
Are allergies kicking anyone else's ass this year? I know they're bad every year, but they are completely knocking me out this year, like 2 hour naps in the afternoon knocked out.
{{Seska and family}} I'm so sorry. It sounds like he is getting the best possible care. Coping ~ma to all.
Hil, it is probably because your lunch is more interesting than theirs.
Yes, sj, allergies are being most unkind to me this year, too. I've been on day-time drugs most of the week, and usually I just blow my nose until I can knock myself out with benedryl at night.

My ass? Is kicked. And fairly thoroughly.
Hil, are they curious about anyone else's lunch? Contemplating the vegan lifestyle? Just hugely annoying?

I haven't noticed whether they're asking about other people's lunches or not. They spend a lot of time talking about going hunting, so probably not contemplating being vegan. Definitely hugely annoying.

Mine, big time. It's been raining for the past 3 days, and I'm so grateful, because it gets some of the floaty drifty ragweedy stuff out of the air. It doesn't help that we live basically at the base of a ginormous park (seriously -- 1,500 acres) that's one big hill -- all the pollen, etc., from all the flora in the park just floats downhill. TO US.
Ragweed can fuck off and die.
