I have had four molars extracted while awake so I feel Teppy's pain. That is the freakiest shit ever. I was on gas at the time so I didn't really notice any discomfort so it allowed me to focus on the freakiness of having someone yanking and pulling. Unlike Tep's mine were healthy and whole.

Hee! Oh, yeah, that got me big time with the last tooth I had pulled. My wisdom teeth came out bing-bang, less than 30 seconds for one and a minute for the other (it broke.) But this last one just did not want to come out and it felt like a piece of cheekbone was coming with it. ::shivers::

I was afraid I'd involuntarily grab the surgeon's arm if something hurt, which would have undoubtedly caused me more pain because I probably would have made whatever Bad Thing was in my mouth move around where it shouldn't.

I didn't grab, though, and was mostly just bemused at the noise.
