I was afraid I'd involuntarily grab the surgeon's arm if something hurt, which would have undoubtedly caused me more pain because I probably would have made whatever Bad Thing was in my mouth move around where it shouldn't.
I didn't grab, though, and was mostly just bemused at the noise.

I don't really like egg-drop soup either.
I like egg-drop soup, but the place I'm thinking of has excellent hot and sour soup, so usually I get that.
Gotta love soup that has both tofu and pig in it....
