Well, look who just popped open a fresh can of venom.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Dog update: He made a run for it. He is very wet.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

The special offer comment is just awesome.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Happy Birthday, smonster!

"Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Luke Skywalker all appeared hoodless without ever going over to the Dark Side and we are only aware of the Emperor as one who never removed his hood.

"If Jedi walk around our stores with their hoods on, they'll miss lots of special offers."

That's a thing of beauty.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

NoiseDesign, spaceships: do you have Andromeda Ascendant ?

Happy birthday, smonster!

sad for the loss of your little hamster, Seska, but wow. 4 years old. He's the Methuselah of hamsters.

Tesco's response on the Jedi thing was perfection.

Fred, glad to hear Rigatoni's kidney is back in play. Sending more kitty~ma for recovery.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy birthday, smonster

And to GC, I'm sorry to hear you've entered into "that" phase of the pregnancy.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy Birthday to smonster!

Poor, GC. Hanging in the pool was a big relief for me. How much longer?

Go Rigatoni! Keep up the good work, kitty.

Ugh, Ginger. Neither the drought nor the deluge are any fun, but the deluge is messier. I think we are in a rare state of normal right now. It rains every day, but a reasonable amount. Hot as hell, but no fires or floods. Perhaps today isn't the beginning of the rapture after all.

Ginger, have you seen this? [link]

We are soggy (pouring right now) but no serious flooding, yet.

brillig

I made sushi yesterday! And it was yummy! I learned a great deal about proportions and textures of filling and balancing flavors. If I find out rice is banned because of blood sugars, I will be very pissed.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Ugh. My graduate assistant wears too. much. perfume. It's a very nice scent, but am sitting in my office in another room (10-15 feet away), she has not crossed the threshold, and I can smell her perfume. How does one deal with that if there's no allergy issue, it's just overpowering.

meara - Sep 21, 2009 12:00:15 pm PDT #23980 of 30000

Oh wow, Vortex--that's a lot of perfume!! Time to have a chat about the point of wearing perfume NOT being to knock people down with it!

Laura! It looks like I"m probably coming to Miami for Thanksgiving!
