[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Aww, thanks for the comfort, all. I knew you guys would be nice about it. (Unlike my sister, whose response was "You took a hamster to the vet?" Thanks for the encouragement, sis...!)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

he joined our little family when I got ill (I was dreadfully bored and wanted company during the day, when I was first off work sick), and he seemed determined to stick around as long as possible to make sure I was going to be OK. Aww.

A most noble hamster, indeed. A flight of angels wing thee to thy rest, Whitby.

Happy Smonster Day, everybody!

Sorry about Whitby Seska. He sounded like a great hamster.

Always Anti-fascist!

I wouldn't be sure that there would be treatment for hamsters. But I've never had one either.

The vet said if he'd been younger, they could have intervened, but he wouldn't have survived the surgery. But then, he was 4. You can't do much better than that. That's like 120 for a hamster.

You must have given him a terrific life, Seska.
