You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Barb, the first thought that ran through my mind was that your mother wanted to write RPF. That's not it, huh?

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Have we seen this?

Heh. Pink. Only in Britain...

“Not dead yet!”

I couldn't even bring myself to ask. A) I know who she's talking about and B) the less I engage her the less it seems like any kind of encouragement. But yeah, I think it's some variation on RPF.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Mom's knee surgery: Went well. Too groggy to speak tonight, but I will catch up with her tomorrow. I hope so at least- I *have* to talk to my mom(my) on my birthday!

Grandma's hospital adventures: she's doing fine, they are still running tests to figure out what's going on with all the falling. She's annoyed about all the fuss.

Job interview: I think it went OK? I can't tell anymore. I didn't screw up as far as I can tell. I wrote my thank you notes before the application of bourbon. We'll see.

Christ, I am wiped out. Thanks for the ~ma.

Cereal:

Nora, here's hoping both Mom and Grandma are on the mend and yay for a good interview. (Because it was. I'm sure of it.)
