Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That is awesome, flea. DH and I are both the first college graduates on either side. None of our sibs graduated either.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Thanks, guys. It looks like she'll be OK, but she said that it took them about seven hours to stabilize her blood pressure. They're not sure what set off the allergic reaction -- as far as she knows, she's not allergic to anything.

Some of my ancestors (or, at least, cousins of my ancestors) were involved in a feud over leadership of the Frankfurt Jewish community. [link]

Coding and Sleeping

DH and I are both the first college graduates on either side.

I'm kinda the opposite. I was born while my parents were both in college.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Hil, glad to hear your mother's going to be all right.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I think I'm the first college graduate on my mother's side. On my father's side, there's one great-uncle who not only graduated college, but went on to teach mathematics at the University of Idaho in Pocatello.

Compassionately intolerant

Rumor has it that my mother's side was connected to Fibber McGee and Molly.

I was the first college grad on either side, from what I understand.

Both of my grandmothers and one of my grandfathers went to college. (Or, at least, some sort of post-secondary school -- my grandmother went to whatever school was required to become a kindergarten teacher in Germany in the thirties.)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Hil, figuring it out~ma to your mother.

brillig

Let's see . . . my genealogy has turned up a Dutch sailor who joined up with the Moors and became an admiral of their pirate fleet, led a major raid on Baltimore in Ireland, and ended his days commanding a fortress. I've also got Quaker martyrs, a colonial Massachusetts governor, and a captain in Cromwell's army, through whom I'm related to Benjamin Rush, who signed the Declaration of Independence.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Fibber McGee and Molly.

I can't think of that without thinking of Newsradio when Mr. James gave it (the rights to the show) to Matthew for Christmas.
