[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Aaaauuuugh! The Random Kitten Generator is non-functional.

So now there is nothing for it, but I will have to go to YouTube for a fix of kittens.

Isn't tomorrow a Day Without Cats on the Internet Day? You might want to stock up, Windsparrow.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I learned that fact from Trixie Belden, thankyouverymuch

Steph, me too! Wasn't it Brian that was inadvertantly poisoned by his GF? I still have some of those books.

Steph and Barb, there is/was some kind of low-level persistent virus going around. I felt randomly nauseated without cause for days, then had the tickle in my throat, then the impending sinus doom that never manifested. I finally went to the doc and she confirmed that she'd been seeing about 3 people a day with similar symptoms. So take it easy, drink lots of fluids, etc.

The only good thing about Tuesdays that are Mondays is that the next day is Wednesday.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Yes!!! Because she made Waldorf Salad and didn't take the seeds out of the apples!

I still have some of those books.

I think I have about 15-20 of them.

That makes me feel better. Well, mentally. Physically I still feel low-level crappy.

So take it easy, drink lots of fluids, etc.

My biggest problem is getting enough sleep/rest. I feel like a bad girlfriend going to bed at 11:00 when my night-owl BF stays up until 2:00. Er, I feel like a bad girlfriend because we could be spending quality time together if I was awake, is what I mean. So I push myself to stay up until midnight (where "quality time" = "watching Family Guy reruns") and then feel like ass the next day.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I had that last week. I stayed home on Tuesday, slept it out and felt much better. Then I just attacked it with my usual ginger tea and emergen-c and kicked it in few days.

Vortex, one day I slept something like 14 hrs straight and yeah, I felt a lot better after that.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

eeeew. My car was CAKED in tree spooj. It looked as if it had been parked a week, but I just drove for pizza last night, and got home at 8:30. COVERED in pollen. Them tree's were having a good time last night. There was a cloud of pollen behind me for a good half mile as I drove in.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I don't know what Obama means by "stay in school," when you can learn SO MUCH from reading girl detective books!

Because you can find those books in school libraries?

Well, that's reassuring. Sort of. I sorely wish I could sleep during the day, but I have to be full-out miserably ill to do that. My body simply doesn't cooperate. But I will be taking it easy and perhaps moving with the laptop to bed in a bit. Who knows, maybe I will be able to snatch a nap somewhere.

So, my lunch is homemade chicken soup with snap peas, tomato chunks, yellow squash, and recently-harvested-and-dried wild sage a coworker gave me. I wish I could pour some through the internets for you sickies.
