We're in the market for a car, but I just can't figure out what we can get. We want something smaller with better mileage because most of our locations now will store our instruments, so we don't need to do all that hauling all the time. But we live on a very dirt road, so we need something 4x4 or all wheel at the least that can handle the clay when it turns to mud. Anything that will do that a) doesn't have that great mileage and b) we can't afford.
You've probably already thought of it, but a Subaru?
Yeah, Subaru's the cheap 4x4 choice for ski bums everywhere.
Oh Omnis, have I told you lately that you are my sunshine, my only sunshine?
See, he understands that one way to calm down a person with traffic school rage is to talk about positive, pleasant subjects.
Another way is getting them in a sleeper hold. And you can tell whether Jack Bauer likes you or not, because if he does then he'll also tell you "Don't fight it."

Something I learned dealing with road raged drivers. Blimey, they are everywhere in CA.

Fortunately, the California DMV understands that one way to calm a person down with road rage is to make them take at least twenty minutes to read each of their web pages.
Is it bad to nip off little bitty skin tags with nail clippers?
ETA: Because I have them, and I want to.
Also, I'm gonna freak out if I end up with scores of moles growing all over my neck like my mother.
Andi, when I went to have one taken off, my doc suggested that I could do it myself. You just need to hold an ice cube on it to numb it and use a pair of really sharp scissors--or I guess nail clippers would work.
I may do that on my next one considering my share of the doctor's visit was $200.
I dimly recall ita's Mom (who's a doc, right?) using thread on ita's Dad's.
I've used nail scissors. Alcohol before, alcohol after, alcohol on scissors, anti-b ointment on band-aid. Never had a problem. I even did one on
the corner of my eyelid once
because it was driving me bonkers and I couldn't wait for the
optometrist
my dermatologist wanted me to see.
Ok, thanks Cash and Trudy.
Part of my logic, and this is a little horrifying, is that a cosmetic removal wouldn't be covered by my insurance... but if I DID go and get the thing infected that would.
