ION, Matilda is apparently all potty-trained at daycare and hardly at all potty trained at home. In short: we suck. We just have not been reinforcing it or making her conscious of doing it at home. But at daycare she's been dry for weeks.
I had the talk with Liv's preschool teacher today. We still have issues at home but she seems pretty much trained for everyone who isn't me.
Barb, our mail is WEIRD.
Barb, I have that recipe bookmarked. It looks like SERIOUS yum.
And tell me, how were the contents received? Abby's been dying to know that everyone loves their Groovy Girls.
Huge hit. She's sitting in the dollhouse now, surrounded by all the stuff. We'll take some pictures.
Many thanks to you and Abby. It was so thoughtful of her. You definitely spread some joy around.
I have a really yummy caesar salad for dinner, which is also what I had for lunch, because I really need to go grocery shopping and have nothing else I can prepare quickly, and I don't feel like actually cooking.
Also, I now weigh less than I have since 1998.
My new officemates are very loud. Even with earplugs in, I can follow every word of their conversation. They've been here for less than a week, and I'm already having "Too many people!" issues.

Oh excellent! We're looking forward to seeing any and all pics. Those dolls and their accessories are just the best-- they were so great for interactive play.
Oof, that's no good, Hil. Is there somewhere else you can go work, if you're doing non-computery stuff? (I've been working in a faculty lounge, and it's usually mostly empty)
As he is able to turn his head while sitting, don't forget to test his hearing.
Oh, his hearing's fine. In Australia every baby gets a hearing test just a day or two after birth as long as the parents don't object (why would anyone object?) - I think it's quite awesome they can do this so young - and gets checked again when they get a check-up with the nurse. (We have a check-up today in fact, in a couple of hours.)

Matilda loves her new dollies!

Most of what I'm doing is computer stuff. The math lab is usually full of undergrads. The computer lab has only two computers, and usually the undergrad math majors who are working on research get priority for those, since they don't have office computers.
New discovery: pepitas make an excellent addition to caesar salad.
