Whoa. Good myth.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Jilli! You desperately need this steampunk derringer made by Weta.

I off to Sephora then, to buy some of that and get my free birthday prezzie from them!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm on Sephora right now, buying that and trying to resist buying anything else.

Oooh... that's RIGHT. I have the coupon. I should go online and buy something. But what?

She knows. We've been watching this product line since the first release and got to see the whole set at SDCC.

Unfortunately though, that version of the derringer is from their miniature line and they are REALLY tiny. They don't help quell the want for the full size version which is, alas, some $600 (U.S.).

They have just made a nice $90 full-size plastic ray-gun that is actually designed for cos-play rather than display. It's pretty good and would be a worthy base to build something more interesting on.

Oooh... I'm liking these:

But which one? I'm really liking the Smoky Classics and Fierce Violets.

Dear neighbors: Please stop blasting your music. It's a nice night, and I'd love to have my windows open.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I want a house so bad i can taste it. i'm preapproved for a loan and have seen over 150 places (mostly on my own, some with an agent) and am getting a bit glum about the whole thing. My price range, being single, it abysmally low. I'm looking at dumps and shacks, even foreclosures in crummy parts of town. I almost cried today after looking at a place that just hit the market and seemed perfect from the listing and the photos....then turned out to be literally crumbling apart. *sniff* I've revised what i'm looking for in a man. I now want to start dating contractors because i know that any house i can afford will need LOTS of work that i doubt i will ever be able to do. (When i worked in the scene shop, i wasn't allowed to build anything but flats after my stairs collapsed.)

And speaking of make-up, does anyone know of a lipstick that will last and not dry my lips? I'm allergic to lanolin, which being a moisturizer for normal people, is in most moisturizing lipsticks, and it makes my lips peel.
