Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Jilli! You desperately need this steampunk derringer made by Weta.

She knows. We've been watching this product line since the first release and got to see the whole set at SDCC.

Unfortunately though, that version of the derringer is from their miniature line and they are REALLY tiny. They don't help quell the want for the full size version which is, alas, some $600 (U.S.).

They have just made a nice $90 full-size plastic ray-gun that is actually designed for cos-play rather than display. It's pretty good and would be a worthy base to build something more interesting on.

“Not dead yet!”

Oooh... I'm liking these:

But which one? I'm really liking the Smoky Classics and Fierce Violets.

Dear neighbors: Please stop blasting your music. It's a nice night, and I'd love to have my windows open.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I want a house so bad i can taste it. i'm preapproved for a loan and have seen over 150 places (mostly on my own, some with an agent) and am getting a bit glum about the whole thing. My price range, being single, it abysmally low. I'm looking at dumps and shacks, even foreclosures in crummy parts of town. I almost cried today after looking at a place that just hit the market and seemed perfect from the listing and the photos....then turned out to be literally crumbling apart. *sniff* I've revised what i'm looking for in a man. I now want to start dating contractors because i know that any house i can afford will need LOTS of work that i doubt i will ever be able to do. (When i worked in the scene shop, i wasn't allowed to build anything but flats after my stairs collapsed.)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And speaking of make-up, does anyone know of a lipstick that will last and not dry my lips? I'm allergic to lanolin, which being a moisturizer for normal people, is in most moisturizing lipsticks, and it makes my lips peel.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

In Columbus after an... invigorating day with the neicephews. We went to the zoo, and Graeter's and our hotel pool, and played and walked and looked at and swung around and caught when jumped on and bawled on and screamed at and snuggled and hugged and laughed with.

Am so tired. But a good day.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy birthday to meara!

That's all I got because of massive skippage. I did see the fabulous Jilli pics. Wow!

erin, I know your pain! Your experience is exactly mine. Three times I tried to buy a house in New Jersey, and all I could afford were crumbling hovels in places I'd be uncomfortable just driving through.

The other half of my duplex is for sale. Want to move to Virginia? I'm desperate for someone sane and nice to buy it.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I like Lancome's pencil eyeliners. They have great colors, great consistency and last forever.

I love the khaki green color. Best $25 I've ever spent. It's about 6 years old, and a nub, but still fantastic.
