And nibble the ducks that have been nibbling at Aims.
I endorse this plan. Mmmm, duck.
I think I might go to my 20th college reunion next spring. DH still hasn't seen my school, for one thing. I do dread the "so what do you do, now?" questions because I've run out of entertaining ways to say "nothing". But my classmates were basically nice people, it'd be fun to see them again.
"so what do you do, now?"
This question has kept me away from all reunions so far. Speaking of which, I am thinking of taking a class in the fall. I don't know why I am even considering it because it almost always ends with me being an anxious mess, but I guess I am just really sick of feeling useless.
My first college (which went bankrupt at the end of my sophomore year) had a really great theater department, which also ran a summer program, which all of us did. The grads of that program are having a reunion next summer in Vermont and I am so looking forward to it. I think it will be fun because it's just us theater geeks.
I've avoided all my reunions.
Come to think of it, it's been years since I communicated with someone I graduated with.
What kind of class, sj?
Either an English or a Psychology class at the local 2 year college. Possibly online or possibly on campus, which is around the corner from where we live.
Sounds convenient and interesting. Worth thinking about, anyway.

"I'm lucky enough to be a woman of leisure".
This is what my mother keeps trying to get me to say to people. I don't think I could pull it off right.
