Ginger, IIRC your fierce dog cannot stand houseguests and becomes unmanageable.
Plus there's those repairs going on to the bathroom. Sure, you'd pony up for a new bucket just for her . . .
Buffy ,'Chosen'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ginger, I'd just say straight out, "I do remember you, but I think you may have mixed me up with [Other Person], who also met you that day and who talked about [whatever whatever] with you. She can be reached at [email]." If you want to cushion the embarrassment, you could always add something about "I remember her saying [blah blah blah nice thing] about you and I'm sure she'll be happy to hear from you" or "You're not the first person to get us mixed up" or some other polite filler.
I like fierce dogs and buckets, but then again, I'm not the best person to ask about houseguests right now.
It's a shame you'll be out of town that week.
Barb is currently gathering things that might have her mother's scent on them and teaching her dogs to attack them.
Nah, my whore dogs know who sneaks them extra kibble and bits.
Dinner was a success! The steak was perfect and it was the first time I've seared it and then finished in the oven. And roasted cauliflower is the way to go.
Now I have to clean up.
I decided it was my turn to steal ideas so I have cauliflower roasting right now.
It's a very yummy idea to steal.
Of course all that chewing is making my jaw hurt. I've been wearing my mouth guard at night, but I've been waking up clenching my teeth anyway and last night I forgot to put it on. I'm going to go take some Alieve and maybe try some heat. I hate TMJ.
And now I have to brag on my Nephew. He's so smart and cute for just turned 1!
Last month Mom taught him the sign for more (although he does his own version) and he's been really good if you ask him "do you want " he'll sign More so it's kinda a yes/more sign. And he'll sign more if he wants you to continue. while I was up there I taught him food. And he was getting good about signing Food and More. And he started saying Nana for banana and MA!MA!MA! sometimes when he signed more.
Mom has been signing Music, which she didn't think he'd get. And yesterday he signed it sponteaously and correctly. And today when she was reading/signing Snuggle Puppy he signed Music. And then more when she was done.
It was so cute to see his little brain working as he figured out food.
