Sometimes I miss having powers... Oh. Oh! I know what this is! This is peer pressure! Any second now you're gonna make me smoke tobacco and--and have drugs!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Shit. Shit shit shit. GC - I am so so so sorry. I completely forgot you are pg and I actually even thought about it before posting it because I didn't want to upset anyone pregnant. I used to hate it when I heard bad stories about babies while I was carrying Em. I am so so so sorry sweetheart.

Not at all, Aims. I am on all kinds of baby-on-board blogs and see the highs and lows all the time (shit, I've experienced them as well). Vibing for your poor friend and her husband.

Compassionately intolerant

Much ~ma to your friend Aims.

Congrats on vanquishing the washing machine MM.

Peace to all who need it.

Yesterday, I experienced my first bite as the doggy lama. I knew it was just a matter of time. I was proud of myself for being able to soldier on with the appointment, despite the pain and blood. Thankfully, it wasn't a bad one.

The dog circled around me as I was walking in the door and bit my Achille's heel. It looks like a very short vampire had at me.

Ironically, the dog that bit me was not the 'client'. Funny how it's always the good dog that causes the trouble.

Hope your bite heals up quickly, bonny.

I'm getting a pedicure this afternoon. I usually rotate among black, silver, or French but might be feeling a bit more colorful today. What color should I do? Keep in mind that I'm paler than a pale thing what is pale.

GC, some of the people at the F2F were wearing a really pretty greenish color. I keep meaning to copy them.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

How do non-gun-at-all people feel about the "well organized militia" bit?

I guess I'd like some discussion of well-organized.

Will they be drilling in Central Park? And is there something NOT well-organized about weapons being registered? Their owners being licensed? I'm not being a smartass (for once), it seems like people skip right over the "well organized" nature of that militia and only remember the not infringing bit.

There is rumor of evidence that a reason Hitler didn't invade USA was because so many folks had a gun, that the insurgence factor was too high.

So he'd have just landed in NJ and over-run us Normandy-style without any ally on this side of the great big freakin' Atlantic ocean? Maybe coordinate with Japan and they'd Normandy the West? While thousands and thousands and thousands of square miles of the interior were beyond their control?

Joe, that was amayzing. ONLY YOU, MAN, IT'S YOUR GUN!

The summer I was living in Dallas the bookkeeper where I worked would go on and on about how registration was so unfair. Their house had been broken into, the guns stollen, good THING they weren't registered or SHE would be in trouble if someone committed a crime with them!
