Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

GC, some of the people at the F2F were wearing a really pretty greenish color. I keep meaning to copy them.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

How do non-gun-at-all people feel about the "well organized militia" bit?

I guess I'd like some discussion of well-organized.

Will they be drilling in Central Park? And is there something NOT well-organized about weapons being registered? Their owners being licensed? I'm not being a smartass (for once), it seems like people skip right over the "well organized" nature of that militia and only remember the not infringing bit.

There is rumor of evidence that a reason Hitler didn't invade USA was because so many folks had a gun, that the insurgence factor was too high.

So he'd have just landed in NJ and over-run us Normandy-style without any ally on this side of the great big freakin' Atlantic ocean? Maybe coordinate with Japan and they'd Normandy the West? While thousands and thousands and thousands of square miles of the interior were beyond their control?

Joe, that was amayzing. ONLY YOU, MAN, IT'S YOUR GUN!

The summer I was living in Dallas the bookkeeper where I worked would go on and on about how registration was so unfair. Their house had been broken into, the guns stollen, good THING they weren't registered or SHE would be in trouble if someone committed a crime with them!

Compassionately intolerant

I tried a new polish color recently. "Gunmetal". It's a very cool grey that looks greenish, bluish or purplish depending on the light and adjacent colors. I'm liking it.

MM, how many experience points for vanquishing the washer?

And make sure it doesn't teleport the laundry to random locations.

Ooh, I use something like that a lot. It's subtle - catches the light rather than looking *too* colourful.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I was going to suggest Seafoam Green.

Nice suggestions, people. I'll be on the lookout for these colors at the salon.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I think Gunmetal is Sally Hansen, but if I recall from my collection, OPI Brand New Skates is similar, with a heavier shimmer.
