Eh, the forensic evidence is pretty inconclusive (unsurprising, centuries on). Henry VII had a stronger motive to kill the princes than Richard III. Richard III was crowned after convincing the appropriate people that the boys--and the rest of Edward IV's kids--were illegitimate. He had no need to kill them. What's more, their mother came out of sanctuary and rejoined Richard's court after they supposedly were killed, writing to her daughters to say they should join her, which would be odd if she thought Richard had killed her sons.

Henry VII's claim to the throne was tenuous at best, so he solidified his rule by marrying Edward IV's daughter. That only worked by Henry VII claiming she was legitimate, but if that was the case her brothers both had a better claim than he did. His mother (Lady Beaufort, who liked signing her letters as Margaret R, for "Regina," or queen) had opportunity and motive. The Duke of Buckingham also had motive, opportunity, and a solid claim to the throne.

When Richard III died any number of people with decent Plantagenet claims to the throne were still living. (Edward Plantagenet, 17th Earl of Warwick, executed by Henry VII, Margaret Pole, 8th Countess of Salisbury, executed by Henry VIII, Edward Stafford, 3rd Duke of Buckingham, executed by Henry VIII) After the Tudors were done, there were none.

Um. Uh. I. I dunno what to say after that video. Clearly I'm glad I didn't go to the town hall meeting tonight. The faux bawling argument... Um. Huh?!? And I still don't get how "socialized" health care equates to Nazi/Hitler?? Facism is at the opposite end of the spectrum for socialism. Right? Am I mis-remembering something? @@

the video did make me wonder how the Israeli health care system works.

There's another video of that same woman, a few minutes earlier, talking about how she believes in Biblical values. And how her husband doesn't have health insurance, therefore we shouldn't be talking about giving health insurance to immigrants, or something. [link]
