What part of my facing the screen and looking at a very official form seems to invite conversation about Michael Jackson's children and their supposed paternity?
Maybe you should ask her who this Michael Jackson person is?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Just respond absently with total non-sequeters. "Yes, thank you, that will be fine."
"No, I had the mashed rutabaga."
"3.5 million, unless you include interest."

I like the "Who is Michael Jackson". But then that might launch into a whole conversation explaining who he is. Not helping your situation.
Hil, I'm sorry your ankle is hurting.
Barb - once I was on a beach trip with a friend who wanted to do nothing but gossip about PHil and la Brit. When I asked her to please not talk about *just* those two b/c I was sick of hearing about them, she acted like a kicked puppy. IOW, I feel your pain.
Seska, I hope you feel better soon and good luck finding an attendant.
My old phone just broke completely (in two) and I wasn't quite done transferring my contacts to my iPhone. Paging 1st World Problems, aisle 3...
Seriously? How much is there to say?
Hey Raq and Suzi!
The A's signed their top draft picks. Woo hoo! We got Grant Green, a stud college shortstop; Max Stassi a great hitting high school catcher and Ian Krol and top lefty pitcher.

You might be able to go to an at&t store and have them get the contacts off of the SIM card.
It was a Sprint phone. Also, I was to the "Sp"s, so I think there were only a few left.
erika, she was reading gossip mags and sharing everything. And it was a time when it was impossible to avoid the two of them, back around Britney's breakdown.
So, the good - called my credit card company to have my interest rate lowered, they were very amenable. Turns out that the agent had just lost her mom. I was explaining why I suddenly was paying late and whatnot a year ago (not an excuse, just a reason), and she mentioned that she'd lost her mom 2 weeks ago. We talked for a little about our parents and what we were feeling. I think that I helped her a little, so I'm glad about that.
the bad - EPIC FAIL IN THE GRAPHICS DEPARTMENT. Why the fuck do they not read what I send them? I told them what I wanted, it took a WEEK to made a minor addition to the logo. The addition was THE NAME OF MY OFFICE. I said "hey, can you make it a little bigger and space it a little further away" and of course, THEY DON'T.
