So, the good - called my credit card company to have my interest rate lowered, they were very amenable. Turns out that the agent had just lost her mom. I was explaining why I suddenly was paying late and whatnot a year ago (not an excuse, just a reason), and she mentioned that she'd lost her mom 2 weeks ago. We talked for a little about our parents and what we were feeling. I think that I helped her a little, so I'm glad about that.
the bad - EPIC FAIL IN THE GRAPHICS DEPARTMENT. Why the fuck do they not read what I send them? I told them what I wanted, it took a WEEK to made a minor addition to the logo. The addition was THE NAME OF MY OFFICE. I said "hey, can you make it a little bigger and space it a little further away" and of course, THEY DON'T.
I have about a meter of books to read, piling on my washed bedroom floor.
Life is good.
I have soup. Soup is nice.

All we are saying

Date Girl spent the night last night.
It was a clothes-on, totally safe thing, but she was too tired to drive home, so she slept here. We had been out with friends, then she came back to my place and we walked around my neighborhood, talking about us, and what the implications of that are. Then she came up so I could give her a back rub, and eventually we were both too tired to move, so I told she was welcome to sleep on the couch and that it was comfortable enough, but that she was also welcome to stay in my bed, clothes-on-totally-safe.
She chose the sleep next to me option.
Again, while there's not some headlong dive into this, it all seems to be going very well indeed.
Excellent. I'm glad things are going well.
