Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Hi everyone. On our way home finally.

Seska, I'm sorry to hear you're so ill. Sean, happy to hear you're happy. And I promise not to say told you so. Hee.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm in santa rosa -- seeing all the peanuts stuff here while wandering around a town full of peanuts statues is just a tad surreal....

...Are you sure you're not in Mpls/St. Paul?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Joe is, as we speak, disassembling the washer and making it his bitch. Hopefully, it is still a relatively inexpensive fix.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Thanks for the recovery wishes, all!

I'm mostly sleeping, drinking hot drinks, and whining about having to cancel a barbeque tonight and a visit to an old friend on Tuesday. Apparently I don't mind a week off my dissertation, though. Heh.

Keep having the strangest dreams, while dozing, about people accusing me of infecting them with swine flu. Freaky. And The Girl's mother has suggested that I should have been wearing a mask around London, so it's sort of my own fault. This is quite funny, as it's just flu (and if I'd gone around in a mask, I might have got arrested as a suspected terrorist...)

Just read up on the Whole Foods debate. Very interesting. I don't think we have a whole food store chain of comparable size here, but I have a feeling that my local, much-loved whole food shop (where I can get wheat-free cake and other lovely things) would espouse similar ideas if it thought anyone was listening. I still like wheat-free cake. I'd be boycotting Whole Foods if I were in the US, though. People are entirely responsible for their own state of health? What with having a genetic disorder, I'm inclined to disagree a bit...

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C, remind me: is your family Gujarati?

Yep.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

So I had an interesting night at the theatre.

Very cool.

I am considering changing my tag to "It tastes like Shaquille O'Neal's tears."

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I'm awake. I even did dishes! Now I'm hungry, and not sure what to eat.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Hello, world.

Thank you for your ~ma - today, it started coming true. I passed my statistics final, got an interview in the HUJI School of History (I honestly pretty much gave that up a while ago. I thought my grades are too low for this. Someone must have say something about me), and, well, a bunch of other stuff happened. But since I was up 35 hours in a row (test season, I heart you), it was a little bit of a problem to say what happened when. Most of these news came after I was trying to sleep after the 35 hours of mostly awakeness and paper writing.

Can't go back to sleep now.

You guys rock.

So's the new Soulsavers album.

And I need a job.

Seska, health~ma.
