Happy Birthday, Laura!!!
Poor vw, watching a sick kid. Tell him he has to drink something, nothing is not an option. St least that is what my mom did.
We had a family dinner party last night, which I think was a success. Today we went to see A Raisin in the Sun in Providence and then out for yummy Indian food.
Now it's time to collapse on the couch and watch the Oscars. I'm already hearting Hugh Jackman as host.
am at a friends house watching oscars and getting advice on drama. am amused by billyteas evening...charley and the unicorns i have been shown before, and it is damn creepy!

Isn't it though? It's pretty much exactly the sort of thing I'd expect my brother to be sharing around.
charley and the unicorns is just creepy and annoying. I did a youtube program at the the library -- the kids made we watch it

All the best to your dad, Anne.
I am a Philestine, and did not watch Oscars. I somehow feel I've failed at a contemporary marker for current culture.
Oh well. I'm a rebel and I'll neverever be any good.
So, all in all, it was a great evening. Except I failed utterly to turn up SNL's "More Cowbell" sketch on the internet.
I just tried to find it. Holy crap there are a lot of imitators of that one skit!
Plus? The original has been removed all over the place.
Except here: [link]
One of my kids brought a toy cow to Show and Tell today. It had a little cowbell around its neck.
"This is its bell, that rings, like this," she said.
"Again!" I said. "More cowbell!"
::ring ring ring::
"Brilliant! Now less cowbell"

...and I've never
seen
the damn sketch. But I googled it last week, because of several random references that piqued my interest.
