When I added my condo insurance to my car insurance I actually ended up paying $3-4 less per month than I did for just car insurance. It really pays to have it (condo/renter insurance.) That was with State Farm, though, I don't know about any other insurance companies.
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Karen from the webcomic "Planet Karen" just had her apartment burn down: [link]
For an apartment, definitely, because you can't control what the morons next door are doing. I'm feeling safer renting a house, because I'm pretty sure no one's playing with matches in the back bedroom, unless the cats are getting very clever.
Ah, P-C, you're right. My bad. Actually, DH mentioned that so I'll have to correct him.
There's a whole radio commercial about it where the gecko makes fun of me for having a racecar-shaped bed.
Damn it. Just dropped a plate on the kitchen floor, and it broke. Mostly just broke into big pieces, but I swept the floor just in case.
One of the things renter's insurance covers is things like fires. As in putting you up at hotel while you place is being repainted/ cleaned/ repaired.
feel better people.
and thanks for the ma~~~ Helps to know people are thinking about us.
I'm watching the Duggars on a mission trip to El Salvador. This whole thing is such a perfect example of how to seem like you're helping without actually helping. They've hand-delivered groceries to a few poor families. None of them speak Spanish, though the father tries to anyway. They get to the poor people's houses and basically stare at them and feel sad. They visited an orphanage. They sat in the back of a pickup truck and drove around some corn fields, waving and shouting "Hola!"
One of the older girls said that the point of the trip was to develop a servant's heart.
I've been with Geico for years and haven't had any trouble.
This has also been my experience.
And all the renters should have renter's insurance!
My boyfriend was just talking about maybe getting life insurance and, although he was a little worried about getting into a sort of Double Indemnity situation with me, I have to say it was pretty romantic. In a highly practical way.
I finally got renters when I moved to TX. Insurance was way too expensive in SoCal. P-C, I found Auto Club had the best rates, if you are an AAA member that is.

Staring at people and feeling sad sounds more like preparing them for a life in retail.
