read another newbery medal book, sweep the floors, bury the kitchen leftovers in the compost heap before the rain comes back.

so far reading works , but tv calls. So does chocolate.

The Wendy's and the Liquor store at the beginning of that video are on Sunset Blvd. It is sad that I recognize that.

Wow! My boss just called. He's starting his taxes. Apparently new job didn't withold any fed taxes since we started this summer! He was calling to see if same happened to me. Yikes!!!

Did he never look at his pay stub? That should have been pretty obvious, even with a quick glance at the withholding.

I guess not. We knew withholdings in TX would be less than CA, since there is no state tax. But I guess he saw the FICA, medical, etc withholdings, and didn't think twice. Thankfully my paychecks seem ok.

I had a lovely evening with sj and TCG last night, and even got to see Victor and thessaly for a minute. Quite lovely, after a completely wretched day at work.
