Big stop just to renew your license to companion. Can I use companion as a verb?

Now tagless for your comfort.

DH just called. He's going to try to book a different flight. If he can't, he'll rent a car in Chicago and drive home. Stupid weather. Stupid airlines.

Because books.

Oh, Cash, MAN. That is beyond sucky. And it's horrible to think your winter is going on longer than *ours* even.

Cash, I don't think there is enough chocolate.

I think after a dinner of fish fingers and mac & cheese, the kids and I will bake some chocolate chip cookies. It may very well provide us with a)distraction and b)yummy comfort.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I think that's an excellent plan, Cash.

Franny's school is having an open house tonight. I made chocolate chip cookies for the bake sale. I wish I could just eat them myself.

My house is a pit and it is making me crazy. I lost one of my regular cleaning weekends, so it is build up. I did manage to run the vacuum then, but I really need to start doing it once a week because of the extra litter flinger.

And my back has been crawling for 2 weeks now, and probably will continue to what with work plus house hunting and it is just annoying. I hate feeling my skin crawling. It's better than actual pain, but still.

hip deep in pie

I find a lot of these recruiters want me to parrot the language in the job req.

Sadly ita, that's exactly what they recommend for Gov't jobs. The HR people who do the first screening don't know squat about a particular position's requirements and are looking for the exact qualifications required in the job ad. I;ve been show the recommended cover letter where, in point from you explain how your qualifications match up to the job requirements.

But I am not really here. I am doing ECM certification training.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

My director is getting old and losing his memory and now yelling at me for remembering what he stated earlier because clearly he said something else entirely. Clearly. He wants me to toe the line and do as he says and then he contradicts himself and gets angry with me for being confused. Gah! And if I (or anyone else) insist otherwise, he pulls the "yes dear, of course that's what it was, but I know that you know that I know you're wrong."

mac n' cheese (what? I so totally had that for breakfast this morning)

Just got off the phone with my apartment site manager and she said that where my lease is up next month, I don't have to immediately renew or vacate, which is a HUGE relief, as it gives me more time to find a new place. So I basically can live here lease-free until I find a place, then give my notice, and I still have sixty days to vacate. Is this too good to be true? Is there some hidden violation of my lease and therefore forfeit of my security deposit hidden in there?
