Punishingly Intricate

Yikes, Cashmere. I'm sorry that's going on.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm so sorry, Cash. Is there an organization similar to Al-Anon for the partners of problem gamblers?

I'm sorry Cashmere - I'm not sure what to even hope for, except peace of mind for you and yours.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Cash, you are a remarkable woman.

It all comes back to health care.

That's going to be an interesting political battle in the near future.

Looks like talking about the future of health care has ironically killed the thread.

Oh, Cashmere, I'm so sorry.

Sophia, while you're looking at juniors' clothing sites for school-type blazers, if you happen to find a b&w or b&grey striped blazer that comes in an XL, PLEASE send me the link. Please. I need one, and haven't been able to find an XL one anywhere.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I had the oddest conversation about health care with some one -- a friend is self insured -- and I was complaining about the bureaucracy involved in switching -- esp when it is every couple of months. My friend kept getting up set because he thought I was complaining about cost. I said no -- I am aware that I even with COBRA I am paying less than if I was self- insured, but just the paperwork to switch is crazy.

I'm hopeing we can make this easier -- I'd love single payer, but I think we can make things less crazy making as a first step.
