Punishingly Intricate

My parents are just doing what their parents did, and lucky to have that option.

Yeah, my folks helped my out with my house when I bought it and I felt bad but they said the same thing. Their folks helped them when they needed it too.

Says something about me that I think WHAT'S WRONG.

Well, it's good that you are looking at things critically. It's a big commitment! And you won't really know how you'll feel about it until you get in there. But I think you're probably right about the price being so low because of the foreclosure.

I'd really like to be in that 'hood, but I also know my extremely conservative limits might mean I go further out for more space. Because I want more space. 800+ good hood isn't enough. But I'm googling crime stats and such madly.

Kat, don't encourage me! Feeds the doubt/uncertain/freakout.

Yeah, I am a case.

As calmdown for some drama today, I viewed your pix of the kids. It worked great. Miss Gracie and Mr. Noah!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Crap -- I'm reminded that I got a $40 bill from my last dentist appointment, that I thought was supposed to be fully covered. I can't decide if I should try to make some kind of fuss.

Also, apparently my gyn no longer takes insurance of any kind, so I have to figure out that mess, too.

Stupid healthcare system.

Word.

I'm glad you think they are darling. N just pitched a fit and G tried her best to crawl out of her (now) padded crib. It's been an interesting day.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Dear lord, I need this: [link].

That reminds me of a story a friend told. She was talking about a boyfriend who had his name tattooed on his arm. We were wondering about the psychology of that and she said, "What really bothered me was that the kerning was really bad."

Your own name is on my short list of names appropriate for tattoos.... Others: parents, children. Only blood relatives!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Blood relatives unlikely to manifest serial killer tendencies are best.
