You do well to flee, townspeople! I will pillage your lands and dwellings! I will burn your crops and make merry sport with your more attractive daughters! Ha ha ha! Mark my words! Ooh! Ale! I smell delicious ale!

Kat, don't encourage me! Feeds the doubt/uncertain/freakout.

Yeah, I am a case.

As calmdown for some drama today, I viewed your pix of the kids. It worked great. Miss Gracie and Mr. Noah!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Crap -- I'm reminded that I got a $40 bill from my last dentist appointment, that I thought was supposed to be fully covered. I can't decide if I should try to make some kind of fuss.

Also, apparently my gyn no longer takes insurance of any kind, so I have to figure out that mess, too.

Stupid healthcare system.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Stupid healthcare system.

Word.

I'm glad you think they are darling. N just pitched a fit and G tried her best to crawl out of her (now) padded crib. It's been an interesting day.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Dear lord, I need this: [link].

That reminds me of a story a friend told. She was talking about a boyfriend who had his name tattooed on his arm. We were wondering about the psychology of that and she said, "What really bothered me was that the kerning was really bad."

Punishingly Intricate

ha! I have my initials tattooed on me. You know, just in case!

Your own name is on my short list of names appropriate for tattoos.... Others: parents, children. Only blood relatives!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Blood relatives unlikely to manifest serial killer tendencies are best.

Well, if you could predict that, you'd never get anyone's name tattooed, would you?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Huh. I never thought about initials but I think I'd kind of like that.

I'm also thinking about a tiny paw print but I can't decide where. I want it tiny and not obvious, because really I want it just for me, but at the same time I want it somewhere I can see easily. I kind of want the inside of my wrist but I'm also thinking maybe the side of my heel? I don't know.
