I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

We have only dinner with my cousin tomorrow night. Otherwise it's a free weekend! I love those! We have lots to do around the house, so will probably be sorting, tossing, moving stuff around.

I get my collecting gene, freckles, ("frog's butt") nose, and sense of humor from my dad. Mom gave me nice legs, good manners, and the anxiety gene. God love 'em.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Tomorrow, I am looking at houses.

I may do that on Sunday.

Tomorrow, I am looking at houses.

Yay!

I am trying out the "handwash" cycle on my new washing machine. I told you that there was a lot of laundry in my weekend.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

When asked about genetic things, she only ever referred to Hubby's adoptive father's family.

Yeah, not so helpful in predicting congenital conditions. I mean, I tend to come down on the nurture side of the nature/nurture debate since I get my personality more or less whole cloth from my (non-biological) mom, but I can't expect to inherit her family's freakish longevity or great cholesterol numbers.

I have no idea what my cholesterol is. I probably should find out, eh?

Might want to wait until a bit after the cheese kick is over.

Yay for house looking at! Hope it's not too scary for either of you!

I'm watching FNL first season still. It's killing me. Every scene practically has a cry point for me.

Took the dog to the vet and he confirmed what I was thinking. Frank is getting old, his brain function is deteriorating. He doesn't seem to be in pain though so that's something but there's nothing they can really do to help him. The saddest thing he said was that Frank probably doesn't recognize me much anymore.

Every.damn.time I hear the FNL theme, I flash back to driving through the back roads from my aunt's near Elgin/Bastrop to Killeen at late afternoon/sunset with the windows on the rental down. God, it was gorgeous. And smelled good.

Okay, Landry was just flirting with Tyra in the library while holding a copy of Our Bodies, Ourselves. This show is so awesome!
