Holy crap, Jess, he's going to outgrow that crib soon.

If he doesn't break it first!
That was a great story about Mrs. Obama. A friend of a friend volunteers at that soup kitchen and was fair to bursting with pride and appreciation.
The Catholic Church caused all sorts of trouble for Galileo.
Ellis Paul has a great song. Did Galilleo Pray?
Of course, where great = my fierce love of folkies.
Weekend:
Saturday night: birthday party for a neighborhood friend.
Sunday: Another niece's birthday, if I can arrange transportation.
Somewhere in between, vacuuming my apartment, playing with my new Mac mini, and buying comics. I think I like Scott Pilgrim.
Reading that Michelle story got me thinking about my local food bank, so I called to see where they are and what they need. I'm heading to the grocery store to stock up my own pantry this weekend, and I noticed that Jewel has canned fruit and veggies, as well as cereal on sale, so I think I'll be buying some extra stuff for them.

(edited to put in the quote so it didn't look like I thought the observatory was rambunctious.)
He's huge and rambunctious! Don't, under any circumstances, send him to circus school, or he'll be using that thing as a vaulting horse in a wink.
weekend
Oh, jeez. First up the regular round of private lessons and errands. But on top of that there's the SO's symphony concert Saturday. And on top of that he's scheduled himself to throw a dinner at someone else's house. For money, but still. Lot of work in a short amount of time. And he's already wiped out now. But I have no sympathy, because he scheduled it all himself.
The DH is making Cincinnati Chili for dinner tonight. We are serving the chili/pasta/toppings plus a big salad. What else goes with it? Cornbread? Garlic bread? No bread?
I've never served Cincinnati chili with bread, but at Skyline you can get it with oyster crackers.
