Punishingly Intricate

It's so crazy that a year ago we didn't even know each other! Although we did know about each other.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Congrats, lisah!!

Now tagless for your comfort.

A Daily Show heads up. Rick Santelli is going to be on tonight. I am PRAYING Jon serves his ass tea.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I think I read somewhere (TWOP, maybe?) that Santelli has canceled and they're going to have another business reporter instead.

Here's a random question: Was "clash of the titans" a common phrase before the movie? Or is it ubiquitous now because everyone who saw it at an impressionable age is now old enough to be writing sports headlines?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, I too would like to live in your old neighborhood.

I almost wish I hadn't been there a few weeks ago! I had kind of forgotten about it.

That's awesome, lisah!!

And, I too am not watching the panda video lest it not feature them fighting with bamboo staves.

And I was not posting until now because I was not up and awake and caught up until now.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Well, just got a call from the SO. He got his buffalo. Not that he wasn't going to, since it was a harvest not a hunt. But they're at the skinning shop at the ranch now and will be heading toward the processor back here in AZ shortly. He says he didn't enjoy it much, but his buddy had a blast.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I recall "clash of the titans" being an already familiar phrase when the movie came out, but I was too young for any specific prior uses to come to mind at this point. Seems like something tailor-made for boxing, though.
