Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

brillig

No one talks to me all day, I put my headphones on, and suddenly I'm the most popular woman in the company.

Let me listen to my music!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm very hungry.

There is a great Ethiopian restaurant half a block from a Red Line stop in Uptown - I think I'll head there before going home.

[insert Homer Simpson mouth-watering noise....]

Punishingly Intricate

I still feel like balancing out looking at her with some Salma Hayek (and baby!).

Her baby is hilarious! Adorable. She's like "Hey, chumps, my mom is freakin' Salma Hayek!"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The baby does look kinda "look at where *I* rest my head." Go Valentina!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, that looks like an awesome baby. And I never really cared about Salma Hayek before, but am liking her more and more recently.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I am talking to a Zappos live chat rep, who might possibly be the cheeriest person in the world.

There's something not right about Zappos. I consider them highly suspect, what with the free returns and the omnipresent shipping upgrades. Ominously cheery customer support doesn't surprise me in the least.

Is diabetes associated with limited bloodflow to the extremities, especially the feet? Is that why they don't want to put IVs in the feet of diabetics?

I can't believe the Slap Chop ad with the annoying Sham Wow guy just said "We're going to make America skinny again, one slap at a time."

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I have had a big old girlcrush on Salma for ages and ages, but Salma as a mom is pushing me straight into pure mindless squee and helpless hand-flaily delighted geebling.

Re Scarlett: the hair looks a wee bit dark, but overall she looks awesome and that dress is amazing. I don't even want to know what the Fug Girls are saying about it.

In other news, my daughter? Still cute.

Cashmere - Mar 03, 2009 12:55:36 pm PST #9038 of 30000
Now tagless for your comfort.

I think Scarlett's looking stunning in that picture.

Zappos is one of the top places in the country to work, so they may have cause to be cheery.

My daughter is pushing my buttons big time today. If she's this defiant at 3, when she's 13, I'm totallly fucked.

I know! I was halfway waiting for her to accuse me of abusing their goodwill.

But no, she placed an order for me, upgraded my shipping, and told me to go ahead with the return process for the shoes that don't fit.
