As far as I know, the only snowplows in Georgia are at the airports. City of Atlanta may have one or two. The DOT salts the bridges and overpasses and crosses its collective fingers. The snow is melting on the streets, but it's going to the 20s tonight. The slush that's out there now will be hell to walk on when it's frozen. I believe I'll stay inside and pray to the electricity gods.

I'm impressed by Calli's pizza. And a little jealous. I had pizza for dinner yesterday...and my leftovers are in someone else's fridge. I wish they were in mine...
I'm making risotto with ground pork and barley. Fingers crossed that it turns out okay.

Ooh, btw, sarameg, my SO is going to be near your folks Tuesday/Wednesday. He & his buddy are going out to harvest a buffalo that we're going to use as part of our groceries for our kiddoes. The ranch is near Truth & Consequences, NM.
I was hoping to have you hit up your dad re: telescope, but since Dave's going down there with his friend I don't know that they'd actually have time to swing by your folks' place. But I thought I'd mention they'd be in their neighborhood-ish. 'Bout an hour or so, right?
