We have about an inch of snow and still falling moderately. Very wet - Casper is soaked after 45 minutes outside.
Of the 5 neighborhood children surveyed, 3 do not own any mittens. (Not counting my own kids, who do own mittens.) Nobody owns boots beyond rain boots.
Our snow lasted about an hour and didn't stick. But still - March 1st? SERIOUSLY, UNIVERSE? THIS IS HOW YOU WANT TO START??
It's still snowing here. It is very wet. I went out for a few minutes and my hair was soaked. It also keeps falling off the trees in loud glops. After initial reservations, Mr Peabody was entertained by the snow, which he believed was hiding interesting things. He was clearly happier about it than the rain.
Here it's bright and sunny, so the snow that fell (but didn't stick to the streets) yesterday has now become a giant reflector to sear my retinas.
On the plus side of March, we did have a very successful IKEA trip today. New dresser and storage/shelf thingy for Dylan's room plus a few scattered odds and ends. Plus meatballs for lunch!
Quite snowy, with snow continuing. Bodes well for a snow day, but doesn't look dangerous beyond that (knock on wood panelling).
LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU
It's still raining here. But about an hour and a half west it's already switched over to snow. We're expecting to see snow around here after 7 or 8.
I went to the gym and ran 4 miles in 63 minutes. I think I'll survive the race next weekend. But just barely.
It's cold but sunny and gorgeous here. My sympathies to those that are getting snowpocalypsed.
